Heathrow Express is the fastest train service between London Heathrow Airport and Central London. The journey takes just 15 minutes from Terminal 5, and 21 minutes from Terminals 2 & 3. It’s the most convenient way to travel, with no changes and plenty of space to work or relax.

There are four ways to buy your Heathrow Express ticket:

At the station – use the self-service machines or buy from the ticket office

On board – if you forget to buy a ticket in advance, you can do so on board (but it’s more expensive)

With so many ways to buy, there’s no excuse not to have a valid ticket before you board. If you’re caught without a ticket, you’ll have to pay a Penalty Fare of £50.00.

Tips for getting the best deals on Heathrow Express tickets:

1. Check the website regularly for special offers – You can often find offers for discounted tickets if you book in advance or travel outside of peak times. It’s also worth signing up for their email newsletter as they occasionally send out exclusive discount codes that can be used on online bookings.

2. Family tickets – If you’re travelling with kids aged between 5-15 years old, then you can get up to 60% off with a family ticket. Each adult can bring up to two kids for free with this offer.

3. 2for1 offers – If you have a railcard (e.g. 16-25, Disabled Persons, Senior, Two Together), then you can get 2for1 entry into London attractions when you travel on Heathrow Express. Simply show your railcard at the ticket office before boarding the train and present it again along with your Heathrow Express ticket when visiting an attraction.

4. Group bookings – Groups of 10 or more people can get a discount of up to 20% off by booking in advance online or through the Group Travel department. You’ll need to pay a £10 deposit per person when booking and the full amount is payable 30 days before travel.
